Fundación Temaikèn actively participates in the following associations that are dedicated to preservation and education on wild fauna species:

American Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promote public zoos and aquariums in the preservation, educational, scientific and recreational areas. AZA´s headquarters is located in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States.

World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA)
WAZA is a unifying organization for the zoo and aquariums community in the world. Its members include the main zoos and aquariums, zoo and aquarium regional and national associations as well as some affiliated associations, such as vets and educators from zoos from all over the world. They are together in “United for Conservation”

Asociación Latinoamericana de Parques Zoológicos y Acuarios (ALPZA)
ALPZA is a transnational nonprofit organization that gathers Latin-American zoos and aquariums institutions and professionals who are interested in this area, with the goal of promoting the integral development of its members.

International Association of Zoo Educators (IZE)
Zoo educators from all over the world are organized together under the IZE that organizes regular meetings and issues a magazine of the Association. It is very valuable that all zoos in the world carry the same message, and to have a web that shows the importance of the conservation of Nature at a global scale.
